Whiteman Meat Processing was originally opened on Battle Street in 1970. Earl Veley and Vincent Whiteman partnered in the business until 1979 when Vince retired. Earl moved the business to its current location, 3 Dock Street, in 1981.
Earl has received the "Distinguished Service" award from the Dansville Lions Club as well as "the Paul Harris Fellow Award" from the Dansville Rotary Club in recognition of his service to the community.
Whiteman's continues to be a Family owned and operated, USDA inspected facility.
